A pretty heart locket which was made circa 1900-1920's. She has a beautiful swallow design set with pink, white and green paste stones. This lovely locket is crafted with 9ct Gold Back and Front with silver settings. Swallows were popular symbolism in Victorian jewellery, as well as being visually pleasing motif, swallows mated for life and therefore were really significant in jewellery gifted to lovers. This beautiful locket comes complete with an antique lock of hair behind the glass window.
